In order to use the kilobots, motor calibration is required.
You can opt for manual or automatic calibration. When operating with large numbers automatic calibration is preferred.

Manual calibration

You can calibrate the robot motors using the kiloGUI dedicated Calibration functionality.

Automatic calibration

At University of Sheffield, we are implementing KiloCali, an automatic calibrator that makes use of an overhead camera and an Overhead Controller (OHC). KiloCali (Beta) will be soon ready and the source code will be shared here via GitHub.
